Tired or in a funk? :) Even a quick 10 min walk provides an immediate energy boost & improves mood. Exercise induced chemicals help you think clearly. In fact, Just stepping outside clarifies thinking & boosts energy because light deprivation makes you feel tired.. “Happiness is the meaning & the purpose of life, the whole aim & end of human existence. We must exercise ourselves in the things which bring happiness, since, if that be present, we have everything, &, if that be absent, all our actions are directed toward attaining it.”️ I know firsthand that when feeling bummed, or even depressed, the last thing you want to do is go outside & move. All you want to do is stay in bed with your heavy limbs & try to sleep it away. Which is a difficult catch 22. If you can just get yourself up- exercise induced brain chemicals help people think clearly. In fact, just stepping outside clarifies thinking & boosts energy. Light deprivation is 1 reason that people feel tired, & even 5 min of daylight stimulates production of serotonin & dopamine. So just start walking in the light, no matter how dark you feel. ALTHOUGH WE PRESUME THAT WE ACT BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE FEEL, IN FACT WE OFTEN FEEL BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE ACT. #justtry #motionbeforeemotion #happinessproject run towards the things that make you happy. Live by the ocean, love on your partner/family, climb that mountain, pursue that dream, get in discussion groups, & eat chocolate (duh). Don’t let anything stop you from just living the life you want to live. ️️️
